The Author's Realm
Where Austen's
World Lives On
Welcome to my literary home—where the wit, moral clarity, and social insight of Jane Austen are carried forward into new stories for a new century.
About
I write Pride and Prejudice variations because Austen's world is inexhaustible. Every re-reading reveals a new facet—a social tension unexplored, a character whose silence speaks volumes, a "what if" that demands its own novel.
My approach is rooted in historical fidelity and Austen's own techniques: free indirect discourse, ironic narration, and dialogue that reveals character through what is not said. I believe a variation must earn its existence by illuminating the original, not merely borrowing its characters.
Each novel I write begins with a single question drawn from the text—a moment where Austen left a door ajar. My work is the act of walking through that door.
